care and education for our country’s youngest and most vulnerable citizens. We aim to do this by improving the early childhood development (ECD) services in Zimbabwe through

training, support and advice in the field of early childhood development

     

WHAT WE OFFER:

 

 

The Centre for Early Childhood Development provides training, support and advice ithe field of early childhood development by offering courses and programmesaimed at enhancing individual and organisational capacity; by developing and disseminating resources; and by carrying out research specifically related the African context.

OUR ECD TRAINING:

We offer an Early Childhood Development Programme:

·          STUDIES OF EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

·         CLASSROOM PRACTICAL TRAINING (PLACEMENTS AVAILABLE)

·         BUSINESS STUDIES AND ADMINSTRATION

·          LAWS AND REGULATION

·         CURRICULUMN

          HEALTH AND SAFETY

·         CHILD CARE AND PLAY

·         NUTRITION AND DIET

·         COMMUNICATION

·         CHILD PSYCHOLOGY

DURATION: 3-6  MONTHS

CLASS ROOM LEARNING: PART-TIME WEEKENDS AND DISTANCE LEARNING IS

AVAILABLE

PRACTICALS: INCLUDE: CHILD INTERACTION AND TEACHING SEMINARS

 

EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

BASIC CPR FIRST AID TRAINING

BASIC PEDIATRIC TRAINING

EXAMS AND FEES

$10.00 per subject for exams

$60.00 for first aid training

$70.00 for Pediatric training
